I'm a versatile screenwriter and content writer from Liverpool, England. As a screenwriter, I am currently working on sci-fi comedy TV pilot Outsider, developed with the Midpoint Institute and recently selected for the Talent in Progress programme for Seriencamp TV Festival. I have written for BAFTA-nominated RASP Films and in TV adaptation, notably on Victoria Hislop's Sunday Times bestselling novel The Sunrise. I have worked across comedy, horror, and drama, earning screenwriting accolades for my horror short, Rhyme or Die. Rhyme or Die was selected for Screamfest, Alter, Short of the Week, won Best Short Screenplay at Manchester Film Festival 2023, and recently surpassed 1 million views online. My short comedy drama, Pineapple, was praised by Stephen Fry as "Funny, sad" and "Entirely captivating."
In theatre, my work has been produced by Theatre in the Rough in Liverpool and I am an alumni of Soho Theatre's Writers and Comedy Sketch Labs, which led to a collaboration with comedy legend Harry Enfield. I have also worked as a programme coordinator at the Albany theatre, Deptford, and perform regularly with my award-winning comedy improv troupe, Ensemblé.
In my commercial work, I have written cybersecurity awareness videos for the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity, translating challenging concepts into accessible narratives for the public. The videos have reached over 500k views online.
I have also worked as a story consultant on an eco-documentary series and as a story workshop leader on Erasmus-funded projects.
Alongside my writing, I have worked as a script reader, assessing the marketability of independent features now available on Netflix, to high-profile screenplays with Academy Award-winning talent attached.
Through my work across film, television, theatre, and advertising, I have acquired a diverse skill set in storytelling, adapting readily to new mediums, genres, audiences, and business needs.
